Undoubtedly, a home sports complex is necessary for any family, especially a young one. But what if you live in a small one-room apartment or, like my family, in a dormitory room? Under such conditions, when you cannot even install a basic pull-up bar in a doorway, talking about a full gym is simply unrealistic. However, we do have a sports corner — a gymnastic ladder with a pull-up bar. To accommodate this mini-“stadium,” we had to clear a small section of wall between the refrigerator and the wardrobe.
To make it, you will need two boards measuring 30×80×1600 mm and ten 35 mm diameter handles from brooms or shovels. Assembly is done with casein glue. The ladder is attached to the wall only at the top points, using homemade hinges. This design allows the ladder to be installed at an incline. To do this, you simply need to unscrew two screws, shift the ladder, and fix the hinges in holes located lower on the wall.

1 — mounting hinge (2 pcs.), 2 — upright (boards 30×80×1600 mm, 2 pcs.), 3 — guy wire (nylon cord Ø 6 mm, 2 pcs.), 4 — bracket (board 30×80×400 mm, 2 pcs.), 5, 6 — crossbar Ø 30 mm.
The pull-up bar is removable. This allows it to be set at “any height” by moving it to another rung or shortening the nylon cord.
This simplest sports corner option is liked by both adults and children. I believe it can be recommended to everyone living in cramped conditions.
