On the ridge of the roof of the house I made a weather vane Carlson. The design is very simple to manufacture. The “Carlson” produced from a metal sheet thickness of 2 mm. the Figure and the rod from the rod Ø8 — 10 mm rigidly riveted together. As the rotation unit used the wheel hub of a Bicycle wheel with bearings. Below is rigidly secured large fishing bells (indicated on sketch). The same bell in hand “Carlson”. From the natural vibration during the rotation of the propeller and in the wind all the bells are ringing.
To paint the figure preferably resistant automotive paint in bright colours from both parties equally.
Weathervane Carlson, ringing bells delights not only children, but arouses curiosity in adults. In addition, in the garden markedly diminished annoying thieves of birds: sparrows, thrushes.
