ANOTHER “POCKET”

Young innovators of the Moscow machine-tool plant named after Sergo Ordzhonikidze developed subminiature winch, dimensions of which (240X215X115 mm) allow to call her “pocket”. With its low weight — a little more than 7 kg, it develops a traction force of up to 1 T.

 

The basis of the mechanism is self-braking worm pair; as a consequence, the main design feature — the lack of brakes. This feature distinguishes the new product from the same manual winches manufactured by the industry.

The big advantage of the new mechanism is the fact that it allows the device to separate a pair of worm without changing the center-to-center distances, thereby achieving a free running coupled with a large worm wheel pulley on which is wound the cable. This allows you to quickly manipulate the cable, which significantly reduces the time to bring the device in operating position facilitates the use of them. Rotation of the worm is comfortable “swinging” handle: economical reciprocating motion provides a switchable ratchet. The gear ratio of worm gear is designed so that the force applied to the handle, does not exceed 8 kg.

 

On the pulley of the winch is wound with 4 m cable Ø5,7 mm. This allows in combination with the unit to implement pogruzhayutsya operation, move large items, pull the stuck vehicle… and even uprooted the stumps.
