Well mixed mortar is quite a heavy mixture, which is difficult to work with. To give greater plasticity, the builders introduced it with various additives, such as clay. Work becomes easier, but decreases the strength of concrete. Craftsmen have found a compromise. Enough mixing to add to the solution… washing powder. Just one spoon of it in a bucket mix enough concrete to become pliable while remaining durable.
