Think how many interesting shots end up spoiled or even never taken because of insufficient lighting. If only there were a tripod… A gadget that weighs just a couple of dozen grams will help — and you can always take it with you: it fits freely in a trouser pocket. The photographer’s own legs act as the supports. Only a tripod screw is attached to the camera, with a 2 mm nylon cord passed through a hole in its head. The cord is tied into a loop, passed under the feet, and stretched with the legs into a triangle.

1 — tripod screw with a hole; 2 — cord
The cord length is chosen according to the photographer’s height. A tripod screw with a ring can be bought in a shop or taken from an old camera case and drilled with a hole.
