DISCRETE CUTTER

Who ever cut on a lathe a series of identical parts of complex shape, he knows how difficult it is to do the same in their configuration. In the secondary school № 2 of Donetsk city under the guidance of the teacher labor B. F. Otchenashenko for such purposes, the children developed a cutter, the cutting edge which could be altered, adjusting the arbitrarily complex shape of the workpiece. The cutter is arranged in the following way. Two steel holder on the bottom steel plate are combined so as to form a kind of trough. In the package it fits the narrow — thickness 1,5—2 mm of incisors, which are the easiest to make out of old paintings from a mechanical hacksaw. Pack tightly contracted, on side wall of the trough there are two hex screw heads, and the top is closed with a steel cover on three screws.
