The ANSAT

ANSATSingle-rotor helicopter classical scheme of “Ansat” designed in KB Kazan helicopter plant. “Ansat” designed to carry up to nine passengers or 1300 kg of cargo (on external sling). The first flight of the prototype machine equipped with two turboshaft engines, “Pratt & Whitney/Klimov” РК206С, on 17 August 1999, and pre-production in December 2001, the Latter differed from its predecessor more spacious and streamlined form of the fuselage. It contains on-Board information control system flight information region (BISK). Vane steering and bearing (sleeve hingeless) rotor made of composite materials. Chassis — skid, but some modifications may be provided with wheeled supports.

 
Production helicopters are equipped with engines РК207К. Developed transport, passenger, administrative (5 — 6 people), sanitary, emergency rescue, an educational-training and patrol options.
 
The Ansat is a pretty rare car in the Russian sky, because almost all of them went for export. The first buyer of the helicopter was Korea.
