BREADBOX-SORCERESS

BREADBOX-SORCERESSWhat place does the bread on our table, understandable and to the children no wonder the old Russian saying says: “Bread is a head”. Frugal, rational use of it depends on how long he will be fresh. Someone according to ancient tradition, put it in a special canvas bag, others prefer the plastic bag, the majority is in the kitchen breadbox. The most common version, mastered by the industry, one – or two-piece metal container. No doubt, these boxes are hygienic, have, as a rule, a pleasing shape and color, but… the bread they stale faster, I would not want.

And so everywhere the search options home storage of bread. Here and all-Union competition of “Whose bread is better?” collected at the research Institute of baking industry of a variety of designs of boxes, drawers, chests, made not only from traditional materials like wood or metal, but plastic and even half-forgotten bark. And designed they and representatives of enterprises and organizations I. industry and many craftsmen. Among them our longtime reader and author Yu. a. Ryabokon. It is about all kinds of Handicrafts made of wood and plastics “without nails or glue” — tongue and groove joints.

This method of Assembly is the basis for the proposed random company; one is a transparent — won a prize at the competition and awarded a special diploma.

“SWALLOW”

The name of this bread is not given by chance: all details are collected at the tongue and groove connection type “dovetail”.
Material for the hull is plywood, or sheets of shock-resistant polystyrene: made the base, top and walls. Flip-up front hinged door of Plexiglas. Such “Windows” in the bread are very comfortable: they can see, what is the supply of bread.

Partition inside the housing is also made of polystyrene. It divides the store into two sections — one for white and brown bread. After all, they are recommended to deskati apart. Accordingly, the flaps forming the front panel, two. They can be opened individually, which is also convenient. The design is so simple that it requires no special explanation.

The front panel is made inclined, so the length of the cover and the top edges of the side walls is correspondingly reduced. Cutouts and protrusions on the inner wall as the spikes of the other workpieces — the thickness of the material.
With careful execution, oval shape, easy going and can be strong and durable.

“TRANSPARENT”

For manufacture of the bins used plexiglass. Of course, as in the first case, you could use any other plastic or plywood.

Structurally, this variant is similar to the first: also a two-piece housing, the double sloping front panel, tongue and groove connection. The latter, however, differs significantly from the “dovetail” is a so — called shaped lock. But it requires a special purity of execution, otherwise the Assembly will be hampered. Step lock — 20 mm; wall thickness of 4-5 mm.
