HERRINGBONE TURN AROUND!

Seven years in our school, works flawlessly simple turntable for Christmas trees; she turns the forest beauty, switch her colorful garlands; it can be used as a kind of bracket for the installation tree.

 

The whole device is going on a wooden beam 1300X300X40 mm, which can be by nails or bolts to mount directly to the floor in the hall. On this basis, as can be seen from the diagram, is mounted a motor power of 20 W, its elongated shaft which rotates a Bicycle wheel; then through velocity — star great bike (without pedals) with intermediate”; the shaft and pulley through the V-belt — pulley with a large tubular rack-mounting bracket, which installs the tree. The top of the strut has a flange with bearing and stretch marks to improve the sustainability of Christmas tree; over it directly to the trunk, secure with tape, it also fasten the contact plate on the tree. When you turn on the fixture tree makes about 12 rpm, thus alternately turns on and off the garlands of light bulbs.
