FROST IS NOT TERRIBLE

COLD WINDIn water supply systems in many country houses used vibration submersible pumps “Rucheek”, “Baby” and the like. They are comfortable, compact, require no maintenance, but in winter when turning off the water pump “locks” in their feed and hose, without drain hole, freezes.
The simplest solution is to make the drain hole in the bottom of the hose. However, if it will not be enough, water can make it turn into ice, but if large, it becomes low working pressure.

To solve this problem allows the introduction of hose pump automatic drain valve. It consists of four parts: body and lid with fittings underneath the hose, the rubber gaskets between them and the Cup-shaped valve porsenna.

Automatic drain valve
Automatic drain valve:
1 — valve body (brass, bronze), 2 — poranek (tekstolit, PTFE, ebonite), 3 — gasket, 4 — housing cover.

When the pump is made in the body drain holes are blocked by the cylindrical surface of porsenna, as the water flow keeps it in the upper position. When the unit is off parseek under its own weight descends, opens the drain and water supply quickly emptied. Thus, when specified on the drawing the dimensions of the drain network with a length of about 25 m lasted less than a minute, so even a 30-degree frost does not have time to bind the water in the system.

The only condition for effective operation of hose from the house to the pump should have a constant slope, without kinks and pockets.
