Not so long ago, with retirement, I seriously take up beekeeping. But our region is not rich in melliferous plants, so during the season we have to move with the whole apiary from one place to another six or seven times. To transport hives I to their pickup IZH-27151-01 produced a trailer which you can install eight buildings. This capacity is provided by the fact that for a passenger car trailer is quite unusual — it is biaxial. In the manufacture of many trailer parts and components used from the disused vehicles and agricultural equipment. Given the time developing designs and search of the necessary parts and materials trailer I did for two months.

The trailer frame structure. And both bridges have their own, separate subframes that are associated with the main, common frame. The details of these assemblies are made of rectangular steel tube section 60x40x2 mm and welded together.

The front subframe to the frame are connected pivotally through the turntable. This node is taken from the decommissioned agricultural forager FN-1. The upper rim is attached to the main frame, and the lower to the steering subframe. To do this in front of the frame and subframe welded in the middle of the two jumpers of the same rectangular tube 60x40x2. Mount the rims to the jumpers made М18хх55 bolts (with washers and nuts). The reliability of this unit during operation, no doubt, since in normal use it works in more severe conditions.

Both suspensions (front and rear) wheels of a trailer made according to the type of the rear suspension of the tractor vehicle “IZH-27151-01”. So some of the details and products they used factory production car “Moskvich”: shock absorbers, springs, ladders, earrings and other.

Spring brackets made of steel sheet of 3 mm thickness and welded to the subframes in the front part thereof. In the rear part hinged earrings.

As the axes of the wheels fitted to the axles swivel arms of the front wheels of the car “Moskvich”, which cut off the upper and lower stands, and left the axle with flanges.

Beam bridges (front and rear) made of thick-walled square tube 60x60x4 mm with their ends welded steel rectangular plate with dimensions 140×80 mm thickness 8 mm. At the corners of the plate-flange drilled holes, the holes on the flanges of the axes (axles) of wheels. The flanges of the axle beam and wheel axle are connected by the same bolts as on the base car. Wheels and hubs with bearings also moskovichevskoe.

Because the hives with the bees that were to be transported on the trailer, the cargo is very delicate, the suspension of the wheels, or rather the beams of bridges to the cradle, did a soft — spring. And the trailer with cargo too was shaking on bumpy roads and offroad, the suspension mounted and dampers.

The towing device consists of two longitudinal rods, drawbar and tip.

Longitudinal traction is made from 40x40x3 square tube and welded the bottom to the pivoting frame. The pole is a structure welded from the crossmember (steel area No. 7) comprising the drawbar (steel square tube 40x40x3) and the body of the damper (a hollow cylinder with holes in end walls). The damper allows you to soften the shock load from the trailer to the body and drivetrain of the car, especially when pulling away and braking.

The cross member of the drawbar at the ends of the horizontal shelf is cut off, and the remaining portion of the vertical shelves are bent back at 90° to form the lugs. In the ears and front ends of the rods drilled the corresponding holes, and the parts are connected pivotally by means of a cylindrical steel fingers.

The damper is a rod with a flange in the middle, on either side of which are wearing normally stretched spring, and all these items are placed in the body. I have a welded hull design not folding — I think that is not great, so the picture here is only the principle of operation of the device.

The outer end of the rod through a cylindrical adapter is connected with the perpendicular tip. Tip taken from the steering mechanism of the tractor “Belarus”. It is a conical pin with thread on the more subtle end. Before transporting the trailer, the tip is inserted into a tapered hole Kron-Stein-parcopa by car.

To ensure traffic safety on the rear of the trailer are mounted two combined lantern with marker, rotating, stop-signal, and backup lamps. Wiring to the lanterns skipped inside one of the middle longitudinal tubes of the main frame. Connects wiring to the electrical system through multi-pin connector stickery.

On the body frame is made of decking, grooved boards with a thickness of 30 mm Boards pressed in the front and rear platform parts steel strips with a cross-section 25×4 mm, which are attached to the frame by bolts М6х75 every 300 mm.

The trailer can freely fit eight hives.
