In our city a large traffic, not only on the main streets. And traffic lights are sometimes not on every street corner to cross the street in a place unsafe. Especially if the person is elderly or poor vision. Careless movement can result in an accident.
To avoid this, I suggest a walking stick to install the pump of the flashlight (Fig. 1), having painted it red napolcom (it better visible). A simple multivibrator (Fig. 2), mounted together with the battery casing of the cane (Fig. 3), causes the light to blink rhythmically, attracting the attention of oncoming pedestrians and vehicle drivers.
The cane can be used for other purposes. The watchman guarding the shop, the warehouse, the blinking light signals that the object is under observation. Paleobiological such a stick-flasher also come in handy: sleep will serve as a signaling device and flashlight at the same time.
