To design a proposed “bouzouki” we came after a careful viewing of many descriptions and schemes of modern models class F2D. Reasoning that the current “fashion” for rough terrain foam machines is justified, decided to retreat and in General repeating the technique of elite athletes. As a result of the sketches turned out to be a promising model, the construction of which is possible with minimum consumption of balsa. We managed to get rid of complex operations on internal relief foam brackets: with fuzzy selection of this material imminent significant leashes and distortion of the profile of the wing ready. Relief parts due to the through-holes allowed to keep a lot of “frame” (and in the end, the flight properties of the model) to the desired level.
Work on this “bouzouki” begins with clippings printed template of the contour of the console when in Plaka, which accelerates the production of large series of devices. At the front and rear edges introduced an amendment to the gluing pine slats to the wing, the pattern is marked, the installation site of the spar. Then the distance between the rear edge and the side rail is divided in half on the root and outer sides of the template and through the obtained points is a straight line. It must be the centers of circles of holes of relief.
Two more template need for cutting of foam block for the profile. Both the root and the end — have only one working paladugu profile, the opposite side serves as the base for the block and cutting through the groove under the shelf of the spar. The relative thickness profile across the span is 10%.
