BEST EXAMPLESTo design a proposed “bouzouki” we came after a careful viewing of many descriptions and schemes of modern models class F2D. Reasoning that the current “fashion” for rough terrain foam machines is justified, decided to retreat and in General repeating the technique of elite athletes. As a result of the sketches turned out to be a promising model, the construction of which is possible with minimum consumption of balsa. We managed to get rid of complex operations on internal relief foam brackets: with fuzzy selection of this material imminent significant leashes and distortion of the profile of the wing ready. Relief parts due to the through-holes allowed to keep a lot of “frame” (and in the end, the flight properties of the model) to the desired level.
Work on this “bouzouki” begins with clippings printed template of the contour of the console when in Plaka, which accelerates the production of large series of devices. At the front and rear edges introduced an amendment to the gluing pine slats to the wing, the pattern is marked, the installation site of the spar. Then the distance between the rear edge and the side rail is divided in half on the root and outer sides of the template and through the obtained points is a straight line. It must be the centers of circles of holes of relief.
Two more template need for cutting of foam block for the profile. Both the root and the end — have only one working paladugu profile, the opposite side serves as the base for the block and cutting through the groove under the shelf of the spar. The relative thickness profile across the span is 10%.
Cutting the foam polycrylic with heated electrodes “strings” begins with the processing of the workpiece by referring to the plan. Then on the ends of the pins attached profile templates and the foam is trimmed to the top of the profile. “String”, starting from zero shanks of both templates evenly is to spar and level the jigsaw displays up. Forehead profile is similar, only the speed of the templates here are not the same, since it is necessary to monitor the simultaneous passage of a respective cue points.

Cord model for air combat:
1 — ending (balsa 3 mm), 2 — wing (foam PS-40), 3 — rear flange (pine rack 3X5 mm), 4 cords, 5 — shelf side member (pine rack 3X5 mm), 6 — root “rib” (Linden 2 mm thick), 7 — the Elevator (balsa), 8 “fin” (Linden), 9 — pull rudder (aluminum Ø 3.5 mm), 10 rocking chair (PCB thickness 2.5 mm), 11 — inserting the Central rib (pine, 12 mm thick), 12 — container of the fuel tank (4 or 5 layers of drawing paper, wound with silicate glue on the mandrel Ø 34 mm, the ends of the tube to muffle round the balsa walls) 13 — the front edge (pine rail 3X15 mm), 14 — front output cord (wire OVS Ø 0.5 mm) 15 — the Central rib (foam PS-64 12 mm thick), 16 — axis of rocking 17 — the horn of the Elevator (PCB thickness 2.5 mm), 18 — hinge hinge hinge steering (sheet thickness of 0.25—0.3 mm).

The details of the system management model:
1 — rocking chair (PCB thickness 2.5 mm), 2 — castle carbine (podsushenne copper tube Ø 3.5 mm) 3 — wire carabiner, 4 — hog steering, 5 — hour output cord.

After performing the groove under the longitudinal profile templates over and the operation repeated. The ends are finished polycrylic pasted with PVA fake veneer (thickness of the outer “rib” of 1-1,5 mm, root — 2 mm). After drying, the adhesive in the veneer are cut the grooves for the shelves of the spar and one of polycrylic mounted edges, the Central power rib and the second wing. The production of the model ends with the installation of winglets, fins, the axis of rocking of the container of the fuel tank and outlet stand cord. However, the last item better to fix at the ready covered models, it will simplify the work on its finishing.
After proskurivka ready frame model covered in the white glue paper AFDB (used in various instruments-recorders), which in extreme cases may be replaced by tissue or graph paper. If the tip is made of foam, they protect the ends of the drawing paper. The thickness of the pieces of foam 5 mm. the Glue before use, diluted in half with water, in the absence of PVA is permissible to use Wallpaper glue KMTS.
After they are completely dry, paper covering, cut a round hole easier. I then applied Mylar film. The glue “Moment” is applied to the entire front edge of the Central rib, the ends of the wingtips and on the rear edge; after drying, the film is stretched.
The Elevator — balsa plate covered with hemalata or two-component parquet. In the tin loops drilled a number of holes Ø 1 mm, in which at the bonding joints injected epoxy adhesive.
Engine CSTOM-2,5 TO be mounted on a pine strengthening of the Central rib with two corners of D16T and two cross-cutting screw M3. Propeller Ø 170 mm, its pitch 95 mm.
Alignment fully stocked game 21-23% of the Central chord of the wing. Weight of model without motor 220-230 g. the airspeed tape 130-140 km/h.
