MODULAR OPTIONIn the “M-K” No. 4, 1984, an article was published about the use of modular monoblock with rubber motor sports boat. Over time the scheme not only fully justified, but has evolved into an electric version of the modular drive. It should be noted that with the same size seats remains a possibility at any time to return to rezinomotornaya. Development has passed severe tests, not only in training: with electric monoblock model was “RAID boat”, became the winner of the championship of Moscow among students.
By construction, modular monoblock simple and easy to reproduce even in unprepared or slaboseismichnykh of machine conditions. The Foundation module is a tube-aluminium body. Its size is chosen based on size and number of batteries, engine, size of engine and for reasons of interchangeability with rezinomotornaya option. Immediately need to find a piece of pipe without any gap in the incoming billet housings — cut out detail-blind.

After fabrication of housing elements in the tube are cut the guide grooves and the shutter set in place, tightly secured with rivets to limit the stroke of the blinds. The front end module is closed by a plug fixed by several screws. The tail end of the housing serves to accommodate the driving motor and printed circuit boards of the electronic timer. When linking these elements it is necessary to provide an approach to the screw of the variable resistance, the tube in the appropriate place drilled the hole for the screwdriver. Sealed enclosure is not necessary, since the volume of the module is closed: the whole candy bar comes in a sealed in the casing pipe of a larger size, closed at the front by a plug with a threaded socket, and behind the whole structure is sealed with a rubber ring on the module.

The inclusion of an electronic timer is made when bringing the magnet to the back of the bar, where on the boards there are two switch. At not too strong magnets are useful on the body to penetrate the window to the outer Cabinet of the pipe, to hold the magnet as close as possible to the reed switches. The use of steel tubes in the shell of the plant, of course, excluded.

The advantage of the proposed module is very high efficiency working with a model equipped with such installation, or directly from the motor part. This factor is invaluable in the real conditions of competition, especially school. The module easily fits into a ship of any type.
