THE CLIP BANDAGE

I saw in the hospital, as the nurse deftly fastened on me the bandage from the bandage: as usual, tying the cut end of the tape, and using some staples. Considered and marveled at the simplicity and wit of its devices. And when the house had long to use elastic bandage — remembered a paperclip and five minutes made for myself. Cut from cans short strip, cut it into two parts and each did a hole for connecting a clothes line rubber band. The opposite edge with scissors and tweezers turned into claws. One of the strips they stick in the bandage before the end, then rubber band is stretched through it, and dig their claws second, securely holding the bandage.
