ELLIPSOGRAPHELLIPSOGRAPH — is the name of this simple device. It can be used to draw an ellipse with any ratio of the semiaxes. It is enough to set into the holes on the line of alignment pins to align the center of ellipsograph with the future centre of the ellipse and rotate the line by 360°. Parts of the device can be made of duralumin sheets, guides pins are made of steel.
