A canvas tent stretched over a frame made of steel pipes for electrical wiring will perfectly protect the fisherman from the scorching sun rays. The canopy size is designed for a boat 4.5 m long.
The ends of the frame tubes are flattened, and holes Ø 5 mm are drilled in them. The connection is pins made of nails with sawn-off heads, which are driven into a wooden plug.
The canvas is cut out so that there is a reserve, the edges are folded and stitched on a sewing machine. The corners are cut so that the canvas does not cover the tube connection points.

The tent rests on two crosspieces that are fixed on the bow and stern of the boat. One consists of tubes 1800 mm long, the same as on the frame, the other — of tubes 1500 mm long. This creates a slope toward the stern: in case of rain. The crosspiece tubes are connected to each other with four half-clamps and riveted.
The crosspieces are attached to the boat also with half-clamps. Then the tent is installed and fastened to each crosspiece with pins. Two guy lines made of strong fishing line increase the rigidity of the structure.
