When designing equipment for the new sports season to our members once again raised the question of finding a middle ground between championship superparty and sverhpredelna models for beginners.
“SCHOOL” TIME
MINI JEEP “PONY”
It just so happened that the car in our country is becoming less of a means of transportation and all more luxury. Accessibility for a person of average wealth — not a speculator, not a businessman, not a banker close to zero. Those hundreds of thousands of rubles, I ask today for any car, not save any “works righteousness”.
THE LIGHT WILL ACTIVATE THE SIREN
The proposed German magazine “Funkamateur” light relay is activated when light falls on the photoresistor R1 (see diagram) — when this occurs, a loud siren sound. Transistors VT1, VT2 equivalent odnoimennogo of the transistor included under the circuit of the sawtooth generator. The oscillator frequency is determined by the capacitance of the capacitor C1, the internal resistance of the photoresistor R1 and the resistor R2. Transistors VT3, VT4 included in the Darlington circuit, perform the function of the AF amplifier. It is possible to replace. Photoresistor — any domestic; transistors: VT1 – КТ3107, KT361, КТ203; VT2, VT3 blocking – KT315, КТ312; VТ4 – КТ503, КТ603, КТ815 with any alphabetic indexes.
“GRUPAS” BUSINESS AND SPORTS
As a rule, the design of velomobiles produced by homebrew are applications. That is, if the velomobile is designed for sports, speed runs, then all of its design features correspond exactly to this, and it is unlikely such a machine will be able to exploit an older person for the daily commute. And, on the contrary, completely eliminated the sports participation of household malogruzovaja-workers. This distinction is understandable, since for velomobiles of different types of completely different design principles, design loads and as a result design components and parts, design. But as it turned out, “harnessed to a cart horse and quivering DOE” is still possible. Confirmation of this — I have made velomobile “Grupas”.
WITH SAIL – IN THE HANDS
In the early 70-ies I happened to be a member of origin in the country of Windsurfing. In those years, sailing enthusiasts Board has high hopes for its extensive and widespread, but, unfortunately, a truly massive this sport did not, although the number of adherents of the sail increased significantly over the past two decades.
THE ELECTRIC GUITAR IS OUT OF THE ORDINARY
Talking about various musical instruments, it is impossible not to recall the, perhaps, popular and indispensable in modern orchestras and rock bands. Of course, this is the electric guitar.
EACH HOLE – ON THE SPOT
Starting to manufacture handmade furniture, a home master, most do not have the skills of carpenters professionals are faced with two main problems (not counting, of course, of the shortage of materials and tools) — how exactly to cut and how exactly to drill! Indeed, those who master these seemingly simple operations, it becomes on the shoulder almost any design, but… the skill takes time, and burned once, some often give up before they have lost all desire to make.
AISLE DIFFERENT – THE TRACTOR ONE
Constructed by the readers of “M-K” mini-tractors, as a rule, are designed to perform agricultural work for General use. They strictly conditioned by the dimensions of the bridge track to change except that a permutation of the elements of the wheel, when the different location of disks and the rim allows to fit the machine to the varying width of the aisle. Interesting technical solution to a longstanding design problem to minimize the risk of damage to plants during the processing of row spacing of tilled crops mini-tractor, V. Chirkov suggested sabotage the village of Lotoshino (Moscow oblast). In his new machinery MT-7 (on the previous and highly acclaimed experts on VDNH USSR, see “M-K” 2/83) track width can easily be changed. As they say, by order! Because the front axle of this mini-tractor is sliding, and the required track width on the rear axle (taken from GAZ-51 with a subsequent shortening of his original technique) is achieved by replacing conventional wheels (right) on a special, fatty hub.
EXPRESS”STOPPER”
Quickly and securely “to drown out” the water pipe or radiator hose when testing it for leaks by using a simple device. By rotating the handle the rubber grommet sandwiched between two washers, “hear” and tightly cover the hole. Plug: 1 — nut M12 (2 PCs), 2 — washer (2 EA.), 3 — rubber Bush Read more…
FROM MAYONNAISE TO THE GAS TANK
If you lost the cap from the neck of the petrol tank VAZ-2108, it can replace the ordinary plastic cap from a jar of mayonnaise. M. BARYSHNIKOV
