HUNTER KAMIKAZE
Carrier-based fighter Goodyear F2G SUPER CORSAIR. In early 1943, Japan had already lost the initiative in the war in the Pacific. One reason for this was the lack of combat aircraft and trained pilots To counter the growing military power of the US Navy, the Japanese organized a network of specialized air units with pilots and suicide bombers that are combat aircraft carried out the ramming attack American ships. Later these pilots were called kamikaze (translated from the Japanese — the wind of the gods) — by name “Kamikaze Tokubetsu kogekitai” that was worn by one of these groups.

FURY WITH A SPANISH ACCENT
Fighter biplane Hawker FURY. The first third of the century of aviation, leading the countdown from the flight of the Wright brothers in 1903, can be called the era of biplanes. Most of the Diptera of the devices looked like, now look, this is awkward; much more rarely met biplanes elegant, with clean aerodynamic shape. Typically, these machines have left an appreciable trace in the history of world aviation, differing not only beauty, but also the best performance characteristics.
UNKNOWN CELEBRITY
Flying boat POTEZ 452. In the early 1930-ies of the French aviation firm Aeroplanes Henri Potez (“Aeroplanes Henri Poteza”) built a small flying boat Potez 452, which has become one of the most interesting and yet little-known seaplane naval aviation of France. Small series, consisting of 16 aircraft of this type, left quite a significant mark in aviation history: these cars had a chance to fly over virtually all continents, and in the battle line, they remained until 1944.
