FROM FLASHLIGHT INTO A FLOAT

FROM THE FLASHLIGHT TO FLOATMany are addicted to fishing for them this activity is a fascinating vacation. The very same UDA, rod, adise is one of the oldest fishing gear; by definition of V. I. dal’s dictionary, it is “spun horsehair forests, with one (or more) hook, which is sometimes linked to special powada; hook is attached above the sinker, above, depending on the depth, the float, the upper end attached to the rod, the shaky stick”. However, progress is inexorable. To replace the forest horsehair came nylon fishing line, floats of nylon and become electrified. Improving manual fishing gears and devoted this article.

THE LABEL “SCOTCH”

You will agree that even in a darkened cellar will not mix banks, for example, blueberry and blackcurrant, if they have labels with information about the contents. Someone as label uses paper someone a band-aid. I take a transparent adhesive tape (“Scotch”), enclose under it a narrow paper strip with an inscription, say, “Blueberries, mashed Read more…

BED: AND THE SHELL, AND SPRING

BED: AND THE SHELL, AND SPRING

In many homes, especially in rural areas, and in the cottages, too, remained not long ago, the popular and favorite due to its “softness” a bed with tubular grid. Indeed, they “rest” — how the cloud fluffy, and dreams are seen the same pleasant, light. And that they gradually disappeared from our daily lives, do not blame the mod. Just over time, the tubular mesh is stretched and after a few years turned into a kind of hammock in which to sleep was not comfortable tan as before. I managed without much parentage to return this bed to its former comfort by combining after modernization, the benefits of the “shell” and the usual cushion springs. It took only two solid boards and some coil springs from an old sofa.

HEAVY TANK is-7 (“object 260”)

HEAVY TANK is-7 (In the postwar period the plans for the organization of our armored forces military experts associated primarily with the latest heavy tank is-3. Commercially the tank was produced at the Chelyabinsk Kirov plant in 1945-1946 very fast pace. So, in the summer 1945 issue was, for example, 250 items per month. There were manufactured 2305 machines.

However, in the beginning of the service in the army revealed a number of fundamental flaws. The fact that many of the mechanisms and units, the is-3 proved to be unsuitable for prolonged use in peacetime because of the very low reliability. Apparently, affected the calculation of the short military life of machinery, which lasted in combat just a few weeks. Therefore, after 1948, they were subjected to alteration and modernization program of eliminating design flaws at the same Kirov factory in Chelyabinsk.

ON THE “TRAMP” – IN CYCLING

Categories Design

Our family vehicle — a three-wheeled velotandem “the Vagabond” — designed by me for tours. From the same konstruktsii it is distinguished by the absence of any irreversible modifications to the basic bike on the basis of which created velotandem; ease of fabrication of additional parts and components which couple to the standard model turns into a three-wheeled trailer, as well as high reliability “Tramp” tested tough operation on the roads of Russia.
Like all tandems, our also has a smaller in comparison with a pair of conventional bicycles CX — the drag coefficient and, as a consequence, a lower sensitivity to the counter air flow. All of this allows easily for 4…5 hours to maintain a cruising speed of about 20 km/h (7 km/h uphill and 80 km/h on Sunnah). To resume movement, as experience has shown, it only takes two or three hours of rest, although the crew does not have high athletic qualities.

UNIQUE ROCKING

UNIQUE ROCKING CHAIR

One of the most important components of the control system with cord model airplane rocking chair that serves as the connecting link between the cord strands and rods for the rudders. Structures of these nodes knows a lot. But, in fact, all of them are divided only into two groups — classic rocking and disk. Both traditional schemes has its own inherent flaws. Thus, the conventional rocking chair in connection with a change in angle relative to the direction of cords in its turn has a variable gear ratio. In addition, this system takes a lot of space in the model, and at large the required control effort, the scope of the rocking becomes so significant that the node weight begins prison the cable that connects the two kordovye threads, thrown through the simple pulley, the diameter of which is limited only by the flexibility of the cable used. The rope on the pulley is not fixed and can therefore drag-and-dropped in the model for the entire length on both sides. One arm cable half-ring is attached to the sealing, which holds one of the levers easy simple politically. If you carefully consider the principle of operation of the new system, it will be clear that the selection of parameters politically fails to provide any parameters of the control system as a whole. It seems that unique rocking chair has no weaknesses.

One of the tips you have offered a convenient method of attachment of sandpaper to the sanding block rubber ring. I began to strengthen them not only one skin, but two: one side of the bar — fine, with another — rough, for initial processing. It was very convenient. Yu BADJUKOV, Vorkuta
