Model boats ROSTOK. There is a class of courts, representatives of which can be found in all sea countries, to see in any major seaport. This court, lifeguards, created to provide assistance at sea of vessels in distress and the ships, fighting fires, repairing hull damage, pumping water from flooded compartments, lifting off the rocks and towed into port. Such vessels vary with displacement, speed and technical capabilities. A significant group of such vessels constitute a fire and rescue boat. We are introducing our readers-modelers one of these boats, called ROSTOK — such vessels operate in the seaport of Rostock (Germany).

In the laboratory, missile and space modeling of the Moscow city Palace of children’s (youthful) creativity of the work on the creation of models-copies of the booster (PH) “Soyuz” was launched in 1984 with the arrival of the Chelyabinsk rakatomalala Alexander Left, while a student at the Moscow aviation Institute. In developing the model tried to take into account not only all the achievements in the construction of models-copies PH “Union”, created in different years domestic rakotomalala — S. Parnevik, V. Rozhkov, A. Klochkov, A. Korchagin, V. hohlovym and A. Bachey, but not to repeat the shortcomings of their designs.

The carrier rocket “Soyuz-2” spacecraft “Soyuz TM-12”. The article “Soyuz” space survivor” (“modelist-Konstruktor” No. 5’02) it was told about creation and tests of the spacecraft and the carrier rocket, which became the prototype for a whole series of these ships and missiles. Their modifications were successfully used for manned flight programs of national long-term orbital stations “Salyut” and “Mir”, and now — to fly to the International space station (ISS). In the same issue of the journal was given detailed drawings of the carrier rocket “Soyuz-2”.
THE ROCKET PLANE “THE DUCK”
According to the rules of the competition model rocket must use only during takeoff the thrust of a jet engine, and the descent of the lifting force of the aerodynamic surface. For performance of requirements it is desirable that during takeoff the shape of the model was close to the missile, that is, would have a minimum lateral area. This requirement is most fully correspond to the model raketoplana with variable wing geometry. Very promising, in particular, the use of all-moving front wing, which at launch is located along the fuselage and therefore has little effect on flight, and the transition planning rotated across, providing the necessary redistribution of aerodynamic forces.
