The readers of our magazine are familiar according to previous publications the name of the Moscow designer-lover of Alexander Abramov. Despite his advanced age (he is now 85 years old), he continues to be active creative activity. In his home lab many layouts, working models and full-scale models of various mechanisms, including engines. Alexander invented and built dozens of them. Many of the designs are unusual and contain original ideas. But the author does not jealously protect their technological innovations from third-party curious look, but rather generously shares with all who show interest in its development. So this time, inventing and testing a few new arrangements, Alexander makes some of them to the reader’s judgment.
THE MOTORS ON THE PALM

The word “cultivator” has entered our lexicon relatively recently. In principle it is the same tractor only built on the basis of single-axle chassis and designed to actuate a replaceable mounted and trailed agricultural implements, and controlled by the levers behind the operator. In some cases, when the walk-behind articulated to the truck, he becomes the vehicle and the operator does not go and goes.

However, not tested the power, and the new manual transmission of the original design, in which I. A. Zabashta tried to avoid many of the shortcomings of other well-known schemes for the transmission on a front wheel. How managed it, tell the author.
The idea is to build a ATV (four wheel motorcycle) developed a long time — needed equipment by means of which the trolley with a load of shabby, fishing for the easy road to go, and just go to family members. And, of course, is to have the satisfaction of creation. Ideas in my head were many, but finances — not a lot, and therefore decided to restrict the construction of zadneprov-tion of the ATV, not all-wheel drive. Thought and the basic technical requirements to future design: among them — the presence of a reverse, no chain — still supposed to use the ATV not on the pavement, but mostly on country roads and also decent power and maintainability. And, of course, low price.
