Moscow musician D. T. KUDRYAKOV among Amateur designers known as the author of a unique car is amphibious “Triton” — one of a kind vehicle that is registered simultaneously in two state inspections: car (GAI) and for small vessels (GIMS). Our regular readers may recall the publication of “Planing… car” (“modelist-Konstruktor” No. 5 of 1996), containing quite a full description of the construction of the “Triton”. In it the author shared his approach to solving complex technical problems, which allowed him to create a vehicle equal in their performance on land and on water.
ITS ELEMENTS – LAND AND WATER
Modern models of bikes full of new materials and technologies. But in most cases it touches the chassis, steering, powertrain. Virtually unchanged in design remains only a spoked wheel: the Central steel sleeve on the axle, steel spokes, metal rim and rubber tire on it. Of course, the inventors here do not remain on the sidelines, offering, for example, various embodiments of bushings, oval and even a variable section spokes, different profiles and material (steel, aluminum, carbon fiber) rims etc, but that does not change: spoked wheel is still the lightest, and therefore irreplaceable.
This small trailer was designed and manufactured when our family received a plot of land for gardening in the suburbs of Cheboksary. Immediately there is a need to transport various goods. At that time I had only the Minsk motorcycle and some old nodes from scooter “Tourist”. Little motorcycle and need a small light trailer. So its frame is welded from steel tubes of rectangular cross section, and reinforced body made of duralumin thin-walled tubes and sheets, securing the wings with the help of argon-arc welding. Then these two main nodes are interconnected by screws M5.

The boys excitedly knock together simple rafts who are older for a range of boats. And since such open spaces is constantly blowing winds, comes the dream of the sail. With the onset of the harsh cold of different types and sizes sailing ships are replaced by yachts competing in speed with the wind. Their arrow-shaped body resembles a race boat and the sail with a mast a miniature yacht. But the speed is incomparable due to the fact that the Buer moves on skates is soon flying over the ice, despite the fact that the wing only one. But what! It would seem that all has been investigated in this technically simple class of models, as F2D (combat model aircraft). But no, from time to time there are new developments designed to bring to perfection, if not the entire structure of the apparatus as a whole, at least the main nodes. Today we bring to the athletes is very innovative solution to this important hub, as the wing tip. If other aeromodelling classes when rendering first tackle the issues of aerodynamics, the “bouzouki” is much more important than their minimal weight and the ability to effectively combine the front and rear of the power zone of the frame together. The latter factor is important not only in extreme situations. Needless to say that coasting on sleds is one of the most popular pastimes – a great form of active rest in winter. Despite the popularity of radio controlled model airplanes-srednevekov, the attention of designers-modelers often drawn to the now obsolete scheme. And this is understandable — after all, the “big” aviation, such machines include a spectacular cabin aircraft, starting with the domestic Yak-12 and ending with dozens of options American Cessna.
Under this title in the “photo stitch” (“modelist-Konstruktor” No. 2’93) was first published information about my home — country car. Since then, the mail never ceased wearing me letters, authors were asked to elaborate on his design. Reply all, of course, I couldn’t and now am glad to be able to do it on the pages of the magazine.
