Moscow musician D. T. KUDRYAKOV among Amateur designers known as the author of a unique car is amphibious “Triton” — one of a kind vehicle that is registered simultaneously in two state inspections: car (GAI) and for small vessels (GIMS). Our regular readers may recall the publication of “Planing… car” (“modelist-Konstruktor” No. 5 of 1996), containing quite a full description of the construction of the “Triton”. In it the author shared his approach to solving complex technical problems, which allowed him to create a vehicle equal in their performance on land and on water.
Design
MOTORCYCLE BACKPACK
This small trailer was designed and manufactured when our family received a plot of land for gardening in the suburbs of Cheboksary. Immediately there is a need to transport various goods. At that time I had only the Minsk motorcycle and some old nodes from scooter “Tourist”. Little motorcycle and need a small light trailer. So its frame is welded from steel tubes of rectangular cross section, and reinforced body made of duralumin thin-walled tubes and sheets, securing the wings with the help of argon-arc welding. Then these two main nodes are interconnected by screws M5.
ON THE ICE – WITH THE WIND
For living with a little bit of a big pond is always a great temptation to build something for the development of its open spaces. The boys excitedly knock together simple rafts who are older for a range of boats. And since such open spaces is constantly blowing winds, comes the dream of the sail. SLED-“AIRPLANE”

CAR TO GIVE
Under this title in the “photo stitch” (“modelist-Konstruktor” No. 2’93) was first published information about my home — country car. Since then, the mail never ceased wearing me letters, authors were asked to elaborate on his design. Reply all, of course, I couldn’t and now am glad to be able to do it on the pages of the magazine.
GASOLINE IS NOT NEEDED
I built most of the vehicles are based on commercially available motorcycle or bike noisy and power hungry internal combustion engines. It was with one hand comfortably, and the other is very troublesome, as the quality of the engines met rarely and had a lot of energy, and most importantly, time to spend on their completion and debugging. That’s why you always attracted to the idea of use as power unit of electric drive. Knowing that there are pros and cons, first and foremost, difficulties with the power source, the version of electrocycle always left “for later”. But first the absence and then the high cost of gasoline has forced to revisit her.
“MAKAR”-THE FARMER

TRANSPORT FOR WINTER

“BABY” PAVES THE FURROW
From the family of microstructures developed by students of Kharkiv Institute of mechanization and electrification of agriculture, the easiest and most accessible for self-production – how “the Kid” (HIMESH-2): it is the most used units and components of machinery produced by industry. It’s a small two-wheeled machine driven reaching for her operator. A large set of interchangeable towed and mounted implements makes a compact and versatile, allows to use it for plowing, harrowing, cultivating, hilling and other operations soil cultivation, plant care, and in the coupling with a single axle truck – like vehicle for transportation of various household goods. In the latter case, the operator becomes the driver and is placed on suspension seat on the front of the truck. Thanks to these properties, the tillers can be applied not only in a personal farming, but also can be used for mechanization of labor-consuming processes in crop production, especially in vegetable production and experimental plots of breeding stations, as well as livestock and greenhouses.
